Counseling & Support

Therapy Services

Individual Therapy

Will allow us to meet one-on-one (usually from 45 minutes to 1 hour). These sessions can typically occur weekly, every other week, or monthly, etc. Scheduling will act in accordance with recommendations made by the therapist in the client’s treatment plan after an initial evaluation.

Couples Therapy

It is a common misconception that a couple must be married to seek support and guidance from a therapist. It is actually very proactive and helpful to participate in couples counseling before getting married or in any domestic partnership and relationship stage. In this type of therapy, we provide a safe and comfortable space to practice healthy communication of thoughts, feelings, and boundaries and provide insight into strategies for strengthening the relationship. However, this type of therapy is not covered by insurance, and out-of-pocket fees will apply.

Family Therapy

Often, if one person is going through something, the whole family does. Family therapy provides a safe place to practice communication between family members and work on ways to better support one another, find validation in thoughts and feelings, and receive insightful recommendations for positive change or adjustments to dynamics with an outside perspective.

All You Need To Know About Our

Treatment Approach

CBT is a common form of talk therapy that helps a person develop strengthened awareness of skewed or negative thinking that may lead to unhealthy behaviors, relationships and ineffective coping. It emphasizes what is going on in the person’s current life and focus is primarily on moving forward to develop more effective ways of coping with life. Treated issues include difficulties in adjustments, different forms of anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and/or eating disorders.

This is a strategy utilized to help promote mental and emotional healing by encouraging people in treatment to be compassionate toward themselves and other people.

This is a form of psychotherapy that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences through bilateral stimulation and installation specific coping strategies to increase validity in positive cognitions and adaptations.

This strategy is more focused on helping people achieve their future goals, while psychotherapy itself, tends to have more of a past and present focus. By pairing this strategy with other therapy models, it can lead to a well-rounded treatment plan built for long-term success.

This model prioritizes emotion and emotional regulation as the main focus in individual experience and key relationship interactions. It can be utilized individually, with couples, as well as, families, to promote healthy attachments and bonding in relationships.

This is a form of psychotherapy that focuses on relieving symptoms by improving interpersonal functioning and social support. It addresses current problems and relationships and treats disturbances mainly with depression and mood stability.

This therapy model is a guided style of communication

that involves supportive listening and provision of insight and advice. It’s design is to empower people to change through first better understanding themselves that brings meaning and importance.

This form of psychotherapy is a type of positive strategy that focuses more on a person’s internal strengths and resourcefulness, and less on weaknesses, failures, and shortcomings. This helps build on a person’s best qualities, strengths, resilience and create a more positive outlook on life.
